Domestic installation in Bath

The customer

This was a domestic property installation, designed to meet the energy and cost-saving needs at a family home in Bath.

The challenge

This customer asked us to specify and install PV roof panels to reduce their carbon footprint and their annual energy bills.

The property concerned is a large, detached family home.

What we did

Our recommended and installed product was a 4.76kw system, this included 14 x 340w Qcell all-black G9 panels, on Renusol mounting. The G9 panels include an impressive 25-year product and performance warranty and we matched this with a 5kw Solaredge HD Wave inverter and Modbus meter, to monitor energy use.

It is now estimated to deliver 4.71MWh per year and offset 1.32t of carbon, which is equivalent to planting 61 trees per year.

What they said

Home-owner, Zak Johnson said:

“As a family, we aim to be ‘green aware’ and minimise our environmental impact.

“Kembla visited our property to assess our energy needs and then installed a suitable system. They guided us through all the technical requirements and also, the potential outcomes and savings.

“When it came to the installation, everything worked smoothly and was completed on time and I am very pleased to recommend Declan Adams and the Kembla team.”
