Why BEEP matters to Midlands businesses?

The Midlands is receiving a unique opportunity to adopt renewable energy solutions. The Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) is presenting businesses in Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Telford and Wrekin with a chance to transition to more energy-efficient operations, thereby reducing costs and amplifying their commitment to the environment.

Harness the power of the BEEP Grants

Grants ranging from £2,000 to £20,000 have now been made available to local businesses. If you're a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) based in the mentioned regions, this is your moment to secure financial support for making vital energy efficiency improvements.

Please note that funding for Shropshire and Herefordshire has already been allocated.

How does BEEP work? A step-by-step guide

Step 1: Free assessment

Secure up to 2 days of support worth £1,000 to analyse your current energy consumption and identify areas for improvement.

Step 2: Action recommendations

Post assessment, a comprehensive report outlining recommended energy-efficient actions will be dispatched.

Step 3: Grant application

Use the report to apply for projects worth up to £20,000. With a grant intervention rate at 40%, your contribution would be 60%. For a £30,000 project, you'll contribute £18,000, while BEEP covers the rest with a £12,000 grant.

Step 4: Project execution

Upon successful grant application, you can implement the recommended activities, with BEEP closely monitoring to ensure success.
